Florida IOP Program

Do you need the structure and support of an inpatient program but the flexibility of an outpatient program?

An intensive outpatient program, or IOP for short, is an excellent alternative. It’s more rigid than an outpatient program but it grants you the freedom to live at home and maintain much of your normal schedule.

Condor Life Services offers a Florida IOP program for individuals struggling with a drug or alcohol problem. Our services are open to anyone who needs encouragement while recovering from substance abuse. It is important to note that we do not provide detox services or around-the-clock support.

So who is our intensive outpatient program good for? Individuals who have already completed some treatment through a detox or residential treatment program and are ready to transition into everyday life. Between our individual and group sessions, you will have the foundation you need to lead a happy, healthy and fulfilled life.

What You Can Expect to Learn in Florida IOP Treatment

One of the greatest benefits of an IOP is that you can start practicing the skills and tools you’re learning in treatment in the real world. As you push the limits and go outside your comfort zone, you can discuss your experiences with your clinicians and group members. Over time, you’ll learn what works for you and what doesn’t, as well as how to put your skills to use.

Here are some of the things you can expect to learn during our Florida IOP program:

  • Building healthy relationships
  • Identifying and eliminating triggers
  • Relapse prevention strategies
  • Stress management techniques
  • Developing self-awareness and self-control
  • Working through past trauma

Who is a Good Fit for Intensive Outpatient Treatment?

At Condor Life Services, intensive outpatient treatment is the highest level of care we offer for substance use disorders. Clients participate in 40+ hours of treatment each month for 120 days. These 40 hours are split between group sessions with other members and individual sessions with your Primary Clinician.

As you learn new things in your sessions, you can immediately apply them in the real world. You can then report back to your clinicians to let them know how you are adapting. In order to succeed in Florida IOP treatment, our program must be the right fit for you.

We recommend online intensive outpatient treatment for the following individuals:

  • Strong support network at home. You’ll be attending all of your meetings online from the comfort of home. It’s important that you have a secure household with positive influences around you.
  • Outside obligations. Whether you work, go to school or have a family to take care of, IOP grants you the flexibility to fulfill these responsibilities. Our therapy sessions run at different times throughout the day so you can pick a time that works for you.
  • Lack of transportation. Florida IOP treatment is a great fit for those who live in rural parts of Florida or lack reliable transportation. All treatment services are delivered online so you don’t have to travel. All you need is high speed internet and Zoom.
  • Requires additional support. If you need additional structure and support as you transition into society, an IOP is a great fit. You’ll have built-in support at all times while being able to apply the skills you are learning right away.

How Do I Get Started?

Getting started with the Florida IOP Program is not a difficult task. Unlike traditional rehab treatment, it does not involve a lot of processes to become a member.
