Outside Support

What About Outside Support?

Although Condor Life Services has developed its own unique program to assist those who are seeking help and relief from a substance use disorder, we realize that most people need additional support as they transition to a more normal routine. For this reason, we urge our clients to take advantage of the wealth of information available to enhance their addiction recovery.

Ongoing Support During Recovery

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA) is one of the most common programs that we refer to clients to. Twelve-step programs establish guidelines for the best ways to overcome addiction and build a life of sobriety. Of course, we can also suggest non-12-step programs like SMART Recovery if you feel this better fits with your needs and personality.

Know that there is no ‘right’ program to choose. What’s important is that you seek ongoing support that will help you transition into everyday life while protecting your recovery. Your primary counselor will have access to all different addiction treatment programs and resources to take advantage of throughout the recovery process. All you have to do is ask.
